I shot some promotional images for Mike. He's a musician from Ohio and is signed to my friends record label, Golden Wave Records. Before working with Mike, I listened to his music to get some sort of inspiration and to know what kind of musician he was. I found out he's very into nature and I immediately knew what I was gonna do for him. Since my fine art style is very "dream like" and I LOVE nature, I went with a mix of these. I used images I took when I was in Seattle the last two times for this. To me, this set of his was one of my absolute favorite promotional pieces I've ever collaborated with an artist. Enjoy!
Marianne and I hung out on a rainy day and went exploring at one of my favorite abandoned places. She's one of my favorite friends to photograph because we always come up with the artsiest of fartsiest images. Follow her art work here.

I took this picture at some point last year and I never got a chance to edit it. Getting back in the groove of my artsy fartsy-ness after not being in my creative space aka my room for over a month (family visiting and what not).
I procrastinated on cleaning my house this morning and I did this instead. I tried some new selection and coloring techniques which I'll be using when editing future images. Experimenting on Photoshop is fun!

I've been wanting to do one of my "artsy fartsy" portraits with a guy for the longest time, so here it is. Thanks a bunch to Jesse for being my first victim!
Shot and edited by me. The smoke is NOT photoshop. Took it just in time which I was super stoked about. Enjoy!
This is my roommate Haylie. She's a trooper for dealing with my crazy ideas and covering her hair with glitter. Enjoy!
My friends in the band Idlehands [http://www.facebook.com/IdlehandsOfficial] really liked my picture "Spun" that I took a few weeks ago and asked if I could do a similar one for a poster that they wanted to make for the band. I ran some ideas by them and they liked them. I had artistic control for the most part and this is what we all ended up liking. I am IN LOVE with this image. Definitely one of my favorites of all time.
This is my friend Cat. A while ago I had her model for me for a personal project. Make up by me.
